AfterCare program

Montessori of Acadiana is looking for an energetic and creative Childcare Teacher to work in our Aftercare Program. The hours will be 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

If you enjoy working with children ages 3-6 years old and want to make a positive impact on children and families, we hope you will apply. Montessori experience is preferred but not required. Total children to care for will be between 5-10 in total.

The ideal candidate has completed higher education or is currently working on a degree in education or child development.

Qualifications:

*High school diploma, OR successful completion of college courses for credit.

*1 year of experience working with preschoolers in an approved setting OR 1 year of college (30 semester hours) OR a combination of experience and college that equals 1 year.

*Upon hire, the employee must pass a background check and CPR certification, and will be required to provide documentation regarding education, certifications, and relevant training.
